ALDI SÜD Group renews commitment to United Nations Global Compact

The ALDI SÜD Group has renewed its commitment to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), reaffirming its support for advancing responsible business practices and furthering sustainable development.

Through its participation in the UNGC, the ALDI SÜD Group commits to aligning its strategies, culture, and day-to-day operations with the initiative’s Ten Principles covering human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption. We also intend to engage in collaborative projects that contribute to the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Renewing our commitment to the UNGC reflects the ALDI SÜD Group’s ongoing efforts to strengthen responsible sourcing, promote respect for human rights, reduce negative environmental impacts, and foster transparent, ethical business practices across its operations and supply chains.

By integrating sustainability considerations across its operations and supply chains, we work towards creating long-term value for customers, business partners, employees, and the communities we serve.

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 20,000 companies based in over 160 countries, and more than 60 Global Compact Networks.
