Our commitments to people and the planet have been recognised as one of the SDG2000 by the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA). The SDG2000 is a list of 2,000 key companies that have the most potential in positively impacting sustainable development on a global scale.

The World Benchmarking Alliance is a non-profit organisation seeking to increase the impact towards a sustainable future for all. Its aim is to accelerate corporate action and accountability on the Sustainable Development Goals through publicly available benchmarks.

ALDI SOUTH is aware of its responsibility as one of the world’s most successful retailers. We consider the UN Sustainable Development Goals within the scope of defining our corporate responsibility goals and have incorporated them within our selection of sustainability-related topics. We promote the achievement of these global goals by participating in initiatives and implementing a range of sustainability policies.
